Hi Paul - I thought you knew of my struggles to drive my Apogee Caliper Sigs!

I have built PP 2a3, 6B4G etc - but so far just a SE 300b amp. Need more power!!

I'm happy with either PP or SE. SE has a bit more warmth and magic, but PP can be very clean and neutral. I'll probably go for the easier implementation, whichever that is - probably PP in the first instance. It's the DHTs that are crucial to the sound - I can live with 2a3s in rows, 300bs, 845s, even bought some 813s to mess about with. But with these ribbon speakers being 84db (and too wonderful to swap for anything else) I'm sriously in need of 20 watts or so just for starters.

I was thinking of A2 since it seemed to offer more power. Is this so?
