Yes, you are probably entering A2 at the lower plate voltage. If I were you, I would go ahead with the higher voltage. I have been hit with 450V and 800V from tube amps. Let me tell you, there isn't much difference. Do the higher voltage and keep it in pure Class A.

On a personal note, I would not bother with the 845 unless I needed some serious power. It doesn't make sense to me to burn up 65 watts in the filaments to get 16 watts out. You have a pretty serious Dunker factor with your planned amp.
