Thanks for the reply...
This is what I thought given the standard requirement for 2.5K-3K load for a 2A3 type tube. I didn't think the spec would change for each tube because of topology. Each tube would still need to see the required load on the primary of the OPT...all dependent as well on what you are trying to achieve in the first place...

I think I've had enough of SET's, (just for the moment), and want to build my first PP amp...I've looked at some interesting schemes, most of them seem to have too much sh*t in the path for my tastes, but I did run into this little bugger surfing the wild wild west...it looks interesting and its what sparked my question...(sub for the OP19A).
