I think I have your 27 op-point's written down from the archives from notes you had on this very amp, I think I will try it in a SE desighn for sake of much easier on me. I have lots of 27 & 26 in st & globe, so no problem there. In preamps I consider 27 really not far away from 26 at all, just 26 has slightly better top end to me. but even at ridiculouse low plate voltage & such. 27 has great tonal qualities IMO. I know how to make em fairly quiet,so I will dive in & have some fun, You wouldn't happen to know about UTC chokes that are black & marked type 54327 would you..? I have 3 of these. I cannot find info on them anywhere & not in my 1963 UTC book.Maybe special made for RCA..? They are 3.75 HY. They look just like like OT KevinKR uses in his 26 pre. Thanks J & G
