NEW AUCTION: Bozak B-207A vintage alnico coax!

Hi, All!

Thanks to the generosity of Asylum Inmate Andrew Turman, we're able to offer a single vintage Bozak B-207A alnico co-axial driver assembly as part of the Audio Asylum Asian Tsunami Victim Support Auction.

Andrew says the driver is in good shape and works well, but is unable to offer pix. This driver is roughly 40 years old, so don't expect a shiny, new piece.

According to my "Stereo/HiFi Directory 1964", the Bozak B-207A assembly consisted of a B-199A woofer (15" cast-aluminum frame, 12" variable-density cone,1 1/2-pound Alnico V magnet) the trademark
B-200Y tweeter array (2 rubber-damped (aluminum?) cone tweeters, each with an 8-oz. Alnico V magnet) and an N4 crossover, operating at 2500 Hz. Retail in 1964 was $89.50 (a JBL D130 was $102.00, BTW).

This heavyweight vintage classic can be yours if you are the winning bidder. Andrew has chosen the United Way as recipient of the proceeds.

Thanks so much for your interest and attention. PLEASE participate in this auction--a GREAT vintage classic and a GREAT cause!

Ole Lund Christensen and Bill Leebens, organizers.
