Hi, Tanto:

You need to provide us with a bit more information to possibly assist you.

Does this machine feature a rolling guide, like the ones on the ReVox A-77 series (Mark III, IV, etc)?

The absence of a rolling guide could have something to do with your frequency response anomaly, but more to the point: did you have the service agency adjust your rec eq or touch the bias controls?

If azimuth is just slightly off spec, things like this can also occur.

If you shipped your unit somewhere for servicing, physical motion could change such settings.

Then, we have another issue: are you just trying to use another brand of tape with your machine, something that you otherwise have not used before, or is the problem you reported experiencing happening when you try to record to a variety of tape brands you have used previously, as well?

Othewise, please provide further details, if possible.

Thanks
