You are very impatient guy and my guess is you have no clue how to handle cassette decks. Cassette decks can be very durable and behave very nicely if you understand how to handle them and how to repair them. My first advice is when you buy old cassette deck , replace all belts and idler tire before putting any cassettes into it.
