Made my first cassette recording

I have an Onkyo R1 TA-W202 which cost me nothing and apparently was never used to record, only to play. I bought a Maxell UR tape and recorded a live classical concert off the radio using Dolby C.

The recording sounds amazing. No tape hiss whatsoever. The oboe and violin parts perfectly match what I heard from the tuner. This could become very addictive!

Now I just need to find a good local source for blank tapes other than Walgreens.

Also, thanks for such an interesting forum. I've been learning a lot going through the archived posts.
