I live in Upstate NY and i am having a tough time finding some place that will work on cassette decks, everytime i walk into a repair shop and put my cassette deck (Sony TC-K677ES)on the counter they look at it like it's from Mars or something. All i need is a head realignment and have it lubricated.I had the same problem with a VCR,the guy told me to just throw it away and buy a new one,he told me it would cost more just to look at it than it's worth,i told him that it's a Sony SVHS that originally cost $1500.00.How do these shops stay in business if they don't know how or want to work on anything? Thanks and Peace,Keith H.
