I know that during the late 70's Philips had a series out called
High Fidelity Laboratories,that is highly regarded by some for there Tuners,Amps,Preamps,Receivers.Even there Turntables from that vintage get good reviews from most!But I can not find anything on there tape decks from
this era,let alone on any of there Stereo Cassette Decks!Were they really that bad sounding,Poor build quality,etc? I myself have mostly used Sony or JVC decks over the years.If one where to get a Stereo Cassette Deck from Philips(if there is 1 worth owning?)which one would it be?
