The only excuse I can offer is I have not used it for a long time. Thanks folks!

I'm still not out of the woods though. I have sound coming out the other end, but the signal is very weak coming from the tape deck. I have to turn the output knob on full and crank up both the preamp and the amp to hear anything. Any guesses on what is causing this would also be appreciated.
