Hello Dave, I moved from Baltimore, Md here to Georgia and have never seen so much rain:). A while back you posted, "Enough of this, let's talk tapehead preamps". During that original posting you mentioned a friend building a tapehead pre amp for you. You then went on to purchase the dHavilland 222 pre and are happy with that unit. You note that your friend gutted the Tape Project's ($799.00) Eros and just used the case. Was there any reason for that sound wise? What ever happened to that unit? Thanks for your response.
