I bought a TC-K 7II brand new in 1978...it is probably the US counterpart to your deck.Good transport,but 2nd tier sound compared to the Nak Dragon and especially the CR7A I had in the late 80's.I'm responding to give you a little tip about that Sony....does it have a FE-CR tape type position on the selector.If it does try to find yourself some "Ferrichrome" cassettes.My TCK 7II like those tapes better than any other tape type I ever used with it.
