RE: JVC KD-85....anyone familiar?

Owned one. Like the man said "Built like a tank" another in a long line of high quality, unknown Hi-Fi products from JVC. I used this machine to copy about 50 or so albums, all imports, rarely if at all, available today of hardcore punk bands from the late 70's and early 80's. Used metal tape and the recordings were freeking amazing. I converted them to CDs but still have the tapes and play them regularly and amaze the listeners. But alas it was traded or sold for a Nak, I think. Anyway, a great machine like the KD-1770. Top loader 2 head in black or silver, another killer.
