You'd be wrong. I use 2A3s, 300Bs, and 211s and horns. I use solid state in a separate video/audio system, but only because the speakers in that system can't be driven by tubes.

The Korg MR-1000 smokes my Tandberg 20A SE and Studer RC 80 MK II. I won't even bother mentioning any Nakamichi (mine or others) because they don't hold a candle to the open reel decks that are dispatched handily by the Korg.
