I just picked up a nice freshly tuned up and running well Nakamichi CR-3 with the gear drive and I must say it's the best cassette deck I've ever used or heard. Looks mint and makes near perfect sonic clones of the source material being recorded. I also like the steady state, non-fluttering tape transport. Price paid $125.00 Haven't quite figured out for sure where I'll use it the most, but probably in high quality FM Jazz and vinyl recording. I would have loved to have had this thing 20 years ago. This kills the ONKYO I had for years as well as the procession of vintage used Teac, Sony and Pioneer decks that ended up giving me great grief afterwards.
