OK, thanks. I'll be using XLR to RCA adapters to my pre so I'm not sure if I'll run into that issue. You can't "beat" the polarity situation it is what it is but I want to make sure it will at least play and record without issue using the XLR to RCA adapters.

Also, I noticed the tape project stuff needs an IEC output capable deck. The Otari is, correct?
