RE: Recording Cdr's

I suggest that you record two identical CDRs one at high speed and one at low speed, then listen.

Most CD burning software suppliers recommend low speed for maximum quality (meaning less write errors). Write errors are not material for data CDs, but can make a CD player's laser and error-correction circuit work overtime. This will certainly generate jitter and jitter related digititis.
