changing to lower output capacitor value in preamp

What will happen if I change the signal output capacitor value in my Audio Research LS7 from 2.0uf to 1.0uf?
Will I loose sound quality?
Do I need to change some resistors too?
Will the 1.0uf difference causes damage to the preamp circuit?
I intend to upgrade to the 1.0uf Mundorf silver/oil as the 2.0uf is too large to fit onto the LS7 PCB.
