Naturally, all those inductors in a passive setup would be out of the question, in terms of insertion loss ... to say nothing of cost!! :-))

Why 8th order? ... I know of people using 8th order L-R with DEQXs on 3-way Maggies with success ... I wondered whether I could achieve the same result using analogue active, rather than digital.
