OK guys, the wonderful DEQX can be had as a 3-way digital XO which also allows you to correct for XO-induced phase anomalies.
Now, a 24dB L-R XO has one driver a full 360 deg behind the other. In a 24dB XO setup, the two drivers are connected in phase ... but is there in fact a "360 deg phase correction" which needs to be done, to make the 2 drivers "act as one"? (Which you can do with a DEQX but can't do with an analogue implementation of a 24dB L-R XO!)
The reason I ask is that I'm contemplating implementing a 3-way, 48dB L-R XO setup using *analogue* filters but I'm worried that, due to the lack of phase correction, it won't sound any good! :-((
Can you advise?
Regards,
Andy
