Howdy

Well since most people have them within 30 degrees (assuming they don't toe out :) the error (13% = 100(1-cos 30)) isn't as significant as iff the drivers weren't time aligned. Heck perhaps they assume 15 degree toe in and therefor aren't off by more than 7% :)

My speakers have the drivers all on a vertical circle focussed on a point about 10ft from the speaker. Clearly this also isn't perfect if the system is set up with the listening point nearer or farther, but still I've enjoyed them at 6' as well as 20' (tho I do have them at 9.6' now.)
