Thanx. The amp does run hot, I have a feeling that it is "tweeked" to run in class A up to several watts. But still the amp isn't that old. The speakers aren't a difficult load. And yeah, I couldn't find much on Mospec, other than a solid state DIY site Ampslab sell them. The problem with what I need in Motorola, is finding them in a small quantity, the only supplier in North America who will sell small qty's has the PNP in old type, and the NPN in lead free. If it was a PA amp I wouldn't care. The amp's manufacturer never returned any emails to order from them, unless they have folded....
