I guess i fried the horizontal amp because the amplitude is still showing, but it won't sweep anymore. There is a spot when no signal applied, or a vertical line of varying length in presence of signal). I am a newbie but i thought i could try my hand at repairing the thing. After all, i managed to design my SET amp, i am confident i can perform the repair with the help of a service manual.
