Help! How do I post a photo? Album Cover? Is it with a digital camera only? Does "Cut and Paste" work?

Very embarrassed to admit, I do not know how to submit a photo in my posts as I see many others do.

I know there must be a simple way...

If The Bored or anyone who has mercy on my vinyl & rock-n-roll soul can dumb it down for my benefit, just exactly how can I post a photo in one of my posts? An Lp cover ect.?

Thank You very much for showing me some compassion for my admitted ignorance on this matter!
