Let's move "What's Spinning?" off the Vinyl Asylum

There was a thread on the VA recently complaining about all the "What's Spinning" threads. The complaint was that all of these threads, which are long and which are becoming too numerous, are pushing many very valuable threads off the front page and into oblivion too quickly.

I agree and urge further that these threads be directed to another location.

These threads are really: "Here is one of my favorite recordings" threads. Perhaps the Bored should establish a "Favorite Recordings" location, not unlike "Systems" and "Galleries" where addicts could list their favorites under vinyl, CD, SACD, DVD-A, Open Reel, & Cassette as much as they like, and say why. That would put them in a place where they can be referenced and be a valuable resource.
