Unauthorized FedEx address change by buyer

Buyer bought this high dollar item from me on eBay and paid for it with PayPal. I shipped it by FedEx using my FedEx account to his confirmed PayPal address. FedEx made the first delivery attempt but no one was there to sign for the package. He called FedEx and made an address change to a completely different address out of state without my permission. I attempted to contact him twice through eBay for an explanation but not getting a response so far. Should I be concerned by this? What's the best way to handle the situation? The package is currently on transit. Thanks!
