A temporary restraining order is just that: temporary. Typically, it is the first of a two-pronged effort that buys the aggrieved party time to demonstrate to the court that a more permanent injunction is justified. Bel Canto's counsel has probably already filed a demand for injunctive relief with the court which, if granted, would permanently bar Mr. Boey from ever misrepresenting his relationship with Bel Canto, mislabeling Bel Canto products and the like.
That said, the scope of the restraining order (and injunctive relief) would be limited to actions that are deceptive or misrepresent MSS HiFi's relationship with Bel Canto. MSS HiFi could undoubtedly continue selling Bel Canto products that it legitimately acquired (such as by purchasing used components) so long as it didn't misrepresent or mislabel those items.
Now, where are the other manufacturers with whom MSS HiFi claims to have a special bond?
Regards,
Scott
