For years, I had a canceled check taped to the wall over my desk. I sent the check to the small manufacturer as a deposit so that I would be placed on his one year waiting list. As the end of the waiting period was approaching, I sent an email to him asking how much longer it would be.
The owner, designer informed me I wasn't on any waiting list. Even after I faxed a copy of both sides of the check, he claimed he had never received the order. He mentioned I shudda mailed the order with a return receipt.
Stratospheric reviews do not ensure good business practices. Sometimes great sounding gear comes from some very strange people with no people skills.
The Attorney General's office there said I could go to their local small claims court and file a fraud complaint. The BBB, well, the manufacturer simply denied he had received my order.
So. You might be right 100%, but your objective is to get back as much of your money as possible.
