really? he should at least have the balls to tell the buyer to 'f. off' instead of pretending to be interested, when his intent is clear.

whatever the condition of the boxes post-unpacking, the bottom line, unless you choose to believe both that the original poster is a liar and that his relative unpacks audio gear like my 4 year old nephew, is that the seller did not pack this gear adequately. period. he knows it, and any response otherwise is bullshit. while the buyer may have made things complicated for himself by not preserving the box perfectly, or not taking pics beforehand and during unpacking, or even refusing the box if it looked poorly packed when when received, still the seller is a cheat, pure and simple.
