all packages, and not pay until you either sue them or show them you are going to. That is their policy; you must take the money; they are not going to give it willingly.
So, although packing is certainly something you are obligated to do, they are obligated to safely deliver your package, not drop it. Do not believe the nonsense thy give you about "We warned you if you pack it yourself we don't pay", Nonsense, their written documents say they pay unless it was not safely packed.
My small claims for one amp, one subwoofer, and one guitar destroyed by UPS goes to court Feb 15th. I bet they will settle by the 10th.
The legal argument is:
They are a parcel delivery service.
The parcels did not break themselves.
