...but there is an OTC product called Zicam that I know works for me. When I feel an oncoming cold, I shoot a few shots up my nostrils and I can attest that my cold has been cut to almost half of usual. Whatever is in this Zicam stuff doesn't kill the cold virus, but it sure does make the virus uncomfortable enough to make the cold not last as long. IMHO and YMMV.
