I know this is your thread but

sold my McIntosh amp, buyer waits until I ship (I don't ship until paypal deposits IN MY ACCOUNT IN THE BANK) soon as amp ships, buyer cancels "Duh, I don't feel comfortable about the way you are .."

But in fact amp is still at shipper\packer\UPS agent. I call them HOLD EVERYTHING.

Paypal says they will reverse the charge-back and give me the $$ as soon as I provide proof of shipping. So I ship, and send them the tracking info. They don't reverse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"No, we said, after you get a sginateru from the buyer."
So if no one signs for the amp I have wasted $320 shipping?
"Well no signature no reversal"

It worked out but no thanks to Paypal, or the scam artist buyer. Avoid NY.
