Right now, "Audiopimp" is selling an EMM labs product, and the ad has been up for 29 days.

I would suspect that manufacturers that have a non-transferable warranty would complain about an ad that represents to the buyer that their product offered for sale is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I believe MacIntosh did something like that not long ago. Maybe EMM Labs has a similar policy and your ad said the product was "still under warranty."

But, IMHO, that's a legit complaint. If a manufacturer has a non-transferable warranty, then it doesn't want to deal with the PR hit of some buyer who was told otherwise by an Internet reseller.

My personal opinion is that a transferable warranty adds value to the product from the perspective of the original purchaser, but I have no way of forcing that opinion on a manufacturer. Also, when I bought my Krell KAV-300i integrated amp in, IIRC, 1998, used from a dealer, Krell's policy was to allow transferable warranties only for used equipment purchased from their franchised dealers. The amp never required service during the time I owned it, so I never tested the policy out.
