When you settle on an audio circuit, tubes, currents, contact me and I will give you " my take " on a supply for same .
Here is what I will say, as soon as you go above about 3 Watts on SE amps, you are compromising, versus a 3 Watt or less SE amp. However, it requires high efficiency speakers, to HEAR these differences.
In your low efficiency speaker load, one is forced to use bigger tubes. So, the question becomes, can YOUR PSET design beat the best-designed of today's solid state amps.
