I am so tired of that misconception.
You think in only DC but this is AC.
Electron flow is a matter of inches in AC.
So the foot or so of the LAST wire
is very important, not the past mile.
That is why the power cords are
make a big difference in sound.
That is why a few inches of hook-up wire
can be very important in good sonics.
Also the higher the frequency the smaller
the length of wire being very noticeable.
