I have 6C33C SET Monoblocks using all the Tango special Transformers for 6C33C. It was modded a lot hell and they sounds superb. Driver is 6CG7 and preamp tube is 12AU7 and I modded it to use 5AR4 or all variants of 5U4 types rectifier tubes. As far as the sound goes, 6C33 is nice sounding tube as SET but mine are running HOT due to cathode biasing. But for some musoc, I think the 6C33C is a bit edgy and not as refined as 211 or 845 or 45; etc.
