As I said, once my PP amp was overhauled, it has continued to sound really nice. I was quite surprised given that it arrived with the wrong power tube sockets, a number of bad solder joints, wobbly power supply transformers - one for each channel - and a filament supply with the under-rated diodes that were turning brown, plus el cheapo parts a plenty and rats nest point to point wiring.
If you do listen, see if the seller will allow you to look at the OPTs. They are hand-made, and mine look like they were made by a 6-year old. However, they work like a charm. I didn't touch them, except for the secondary leads which looked like they hadn't even been soldered in place.
