I also have Welborne Laurel 300b's, Welborne Moondog 2A3's, Welborne DRD 45's and StarChief 45's through Klipschorns. I auditioned a Don Garber 45 amp for a friend who is a reviewer for an online magazine. Although they are very nice and detailed, I'll stick to my Welbornes.
You might try a George Wright amp. He made both SET and push/pull amps.

There might be something there you could use for a very, very reasonable price.
I have a pair of Decware 2 watt amps bridged for mono for about 6 watts and they sound great.
You might find a pair of Gordon Rankin Wavelength's in your budget, also.
You must have efficient speakers, try a 2A3 for a change.
