The Elrogs are outstanding tubes.
At 25 hours, they're NOT even beginning to break-in yet-- vacuum is stabilized, metals are not yet.
If these tubes are drawing less plate current-- in most amps that's a big plus.... as most tube amps are a junkyard of stupid, unnecessary, mindless hot-rodding of vacuum tubes, a practice that comes from the old days where Drug Stores sold tubes, and tube manufacturers sold as many as possible, and printed-up Tube Manuals to encourage tube frying.
About 1000 hours was standard life expectancy.. It's similar to today's corrupt Pharmaceutical drug-pusher Industry on your T.V.. Sell as much as possible....
I am thankful for these wonderful Elrog tubes, and I love that this engineer is really smart. You should consider yourself in on a great thing.
