Ahh wow! I had to wait three weeks for the DAC. I also had to wait for the 219IA in Silver - black is more popular in Hong Kong and they had 15 of them delivered - all in black. I think I waited over a month for that one.
The VV3 is produced by the other plant in a different part of China - in HK there are two separate dealers. One carries the silver/Gold series and the other is all the classical WE looking stuff and the VV3. Apparently though that plant has HUGE orders from Japan for their speaker drivers filling 2000 quantity orders - the Japanese love those old 8 inch WE drivers apparently.
I think I may opt for a second hand Audio Note M3 instead. But so not sexy look - so - so not.
