I owned 2 JH amps compared them to quite a few others. They had great midrange but as mentioned weak bloated bass below 40hz and rolled off treble I had no noise issues on 106db horns. I did keep one 45 SET for sometime used it to run midrange horns in tri-amp system. Later traded it to a friend who used it with fe166esr a driver with no bass below 40hz and a bit of a roll off on top so it matched well. Think with Johns amps a bit of sentimental value exists toss in rarity and I understand why they sell. Would I buy at such a price no.
