According to W.E. a 300b at 400 volts running 60ma into 3500 ohms gives 10.5 watts with 5% 2nd and 1.26% 3rd distortion.
400 volts running 60ma into 5000 ohms gives 8.3 watts with 3.16% 2nd and .5% 3rd.
I would think with a 5k load, and only using 5 watts, the upper ordered harmonic distortion would be very low and it should sound great.
