I'm looking at buying a get set go amplifier with the optional 300B output tubes. It puts out 5 watts with the 300B. The standard output tube is 6B4G.

This particular amp uses James JS-6113HS, which are only 10 watt output transformers. It looks like 60 mA plate current and 410V plate voltage is what the 300B version is spec'd for. Questions:
1) do 300B tubes generally sound good at this plate voltage and current?
2) is a 10 watt OPT a good idea here even if the 300B is run conservatively? Will this sound good or stressed / distorted?
