Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

RE: That's what I see too

I sold my Lamm ML1 after eight years of service. I replaced it with a Tron Telstar 211. I also replaced my speakers with Horning Eufrodites.

The Lamm ML1 needs maintance that is too much for the end user to do IMO. I had to change the tube sockets when I replaced the 6C33 tubes, and to bias the small tubes you have to put the amp on its side while on and bias those tubes live so a chance of getting a big shock if you are not careful. SO to change the tubes on an ML1 it cost me close to $1000 with tubes and labour for the tube socket change. Too much work for my liking.
