Monaco 845

This is a meaningless little rant directed at Larry D. Moore. I just want to thank you brother for the joy you have given me over the last 2 years. You built an amplifier for me , you call the Monaco. A 6SN7 input stage, with a 46 DHT conservatively driving an 845 DHT to 10 watts.I don't know of many amps where a DHT is driving a DHT. I use to"read" that the 845 was not the way to go. The sound of this circut with an 845 at 10 watts is open, relaxed, graceful, yet detailed. It is the most natural sounding amplifier I have ever heard. I have owned over forty five tube amplifiers. The vast majority were SETS. I heard you had stopped building SETS. If so ..... then well A Giant has retired. I just wish to thank you again. Its' supposed to be fun, this hobby of high res music enjoyment. You have made it most enjoyable for me.
