May I ask what you currently use? IMHO well experience also, shunyata uses an array of capacitors closely coupled to the socket, say 1uf .1uf and .01uf and the fact that components are referenced to ground at the same place. Shunts line noise and discourages loops, however there may be space age science at work that I have trouble believing in. I currently use a 7.5kva balanced ISO transformer then the required number of outlets. What I mean to say really is I used to be mystified about power conditioners u til I took a few of them apart....
