I agree with Mathew J. I have both a Kurashima 45 and a Kurashima 300b; both amps are superbly built and sound great. Unless you are in a very large room both the 45 and 300b provide plenty of sound pressure if driving efficient speakers. I have used them with all of the Klipsch heritage series: heresy, cornwall, la scala, and khorns with excellent results. I use the EML 45 solid plates and EML globe 45's with the smaller amp and EML 300b mesh plates with Kurashima 300b. If you are in a larger room, the 300b would be a better choice - and I would highy recommend the EML 300b mesh plates; especially if you like the kondo sound. Very nice, clean and detailed from top to bottom, and very fairly priced.
