Follow Dan L suggestion with this OB bass experiment with that low of XO. make sure it is a GOOD OB bass driver that will not come apart. If I were to do again it would be a custon AE bass driver for OB lows & JBL high eff stuff for everything else.. ala I could use any amp I want for everything but 80 hz up. Now PakProtector...aka Douglas uses a PP amp for his bi-amp gig, So there is many ways to do it. Jeff M advice is very sound if coherancy is job 1 in a perfectly done speaker system. BUT OB bass is very differant animal...at least the way I like OB bass.

ps I do niether now & just listen to vinatge JBL & build tube amps..much less stress ...
