Every CD player Don modifies has the same Philips 745 base design, mainly because the D/A conversion is well above the norm, especially for a product marketed for the Best Buy crowd. The players are branded Philips, Magnavox, Yamaha, and Marantz. (The Marantz has an "improved" power supply.)
